Start of the Journey

Day 1
We arrived at Malaysia Airport at 6 in the morning. Immigration took about an hour with a little bit of scare (my passport was not getting scanned and that scared Krishna a bit more than it did me lol). Waiting for the Rental Car We took the pinto 7 for keluar, waiting for the pre-booked car to be handed over to us at the airport. It's been an hour and a half of waiting and now almost everyone is getting a bit frustrated. Honestly, I am just glad I made it this far — I don't know about others, but I for one didn't think I'd even get my passport.
We need to collect the car and get to our AirBnB soon, after picking up Jyoti and Manu from Terminal 2.
So it is 10:15 right now, and we are still waiting for the car. Me and Kiran are chitchatting on the platform, still waiting for our rental car. Nikhil aake baar baar "andar chalke AC mai baith jao" bolra hai. Me and Kiran said that it's better to acclimatise our bodies to the weather rather than sweat once we are inevitably out of AC.
Krishna seems to be getting super pissed at the rental car guy. The AirBnB It is on the 31st floor and the view is just insanely good.
We freshened up, took a couple of hours to get ready, and then started to move out. Manu and Jyoti stayed back in the room to sleep with adequate leg-room (theirs was an Air Asia flight with negative leg-room and crying kids).
We drove to the parking lot, and I just crashed in the car and started sleeping. So Nikhil and Krishna went ahead on their own.
This place is truly stunning — check out our room and the view!
This is where we had breakfast — we had Nasi Goreng, an Indonesian food, on the first day, which was delicious. Every day we got tea with small cookies. Heading to Ubud In the late afternoon, after everyone had rested following the long plane journey, we left for Ubud.
A bit of a bad start to the evening when I almost lost my bank card, as the money comes out in a different order than back home!
We went for a small wander around and had some dinner, and then an early night, as we were still tired from the long journey.
